Nigeria’s Buhari launches economic recovery plan Wednesday

According to SA to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President Muhammadu Buhari administration will on Wednesday formally launch the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) 2017-2020.

Adesina said this was in furtherance of Buhari”s administration’s drive to sustain and build on the successes so far recorded in tackling corruption, improving security and re-revamping the economy,

The presidential spokesman said the ceremony would hold at 11.00am inside the Council Chambers of Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He stated: “The medium-Term ERGP, which had earlier been approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC), has amongst its broad strategic objectives,restoring sustainable, accelerated inclusive growth and development; investing in the people; and building a globally competitive economy.”
