A firm, GCA Energy Limited, has denied involvement in the alleged N19billion Paris Club scam.
It debunked reports that it was involved in the loan refund investigation saga.
It was alleged that GCA Energy, last December 21, paid $25,000 to Asterio Energy Services Limited which subsequently transferred $23,200 to Cactus Communication Limited account with Access Bank.
It was also alleged that Acarast Commercial received N92,685,000 from Melrose General Services last December 20 and paid N12, 000,000 to GCA Energy, N73,950,000 to Sought-After International Synergy and N9, 500,000 to Vertice Solution.
The firm said the claims by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) failed to establish the fact that the financial transactions were fraudulent.
GCA Energy said Asterio Energy Services Limited contacted it last December 21seeking assistance to help it raise $25,000 in exchange for its naira equivalent, which summed up to N12,000,000 as at the time.
