NPA’s new spokesman resumes office

Date:

The newly-appointed General Manager, Public Affairs of the Nigerian Ports Authority, (NPA), Mr Effiong Nduonofit, has assumed office.

The Principal Manager, Public Affairs of NPA, Mr Ibrahim Nasiru, said on Friday that Nduonofit took over from Chief Michael Ajayi, who retired and handed over the mantle at the Corporate Headquarters of NPA in Lagos.

Nduonofit solicited the support of all personnel, sections and units of the Public Affairs Division in his quest to contribute most meaningfully to the organisation’s image appreciation and publicity mileage.
According to him, collaborations should be the watch word as we navigate the very challenging task of ensuring that NPA takes its place of pride among notable institutions nationwide and internationally.

Nduonofit urged Public Affairs officers in the organisation to brace up to the new vista in line with the change mantra of the Federal Government.

He advised officers to key into the vision of the Management of the authority.

The NPA’s new spokesman said that the duty of promoting the image of the organisation was paramount and should be upheld by everybody in the division.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that before now, Nduonofit was an Assistant General Manager (AGM) Audit of the authority.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA), both from the University of Calabar.
