USAID Launches Public-Private Partnerships to Strengthen Nigerian Agriculture

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will launch two public-private partnerships that promise to boost agricultural productivity and to increase household incomes in Nigeria.

Agreements with Chi Farms and Niyi Foods are expected to improve Nigeria’s agricultural sector by providing farmers with new management and commercial skills, and new technologies to increase productivity and earn higher incomes.

The U.S. government facilitates partnerships with Nigerian agricultural businesses to improve access to technology for small holder farmers.
