Jay Z denies buying 2Pac's catalogue of unreleased songs

 According to rumours Jay Z had purchased 2Pac’s catalogue for $384 million from Entertainment One, and planned to drop a new album from 2Pac in 2016, and set to feature  Snoop Dogg, Drake, Nas, The-Dream, DMX, Beyonce and Jay Z.

A representative of Roc Nation has denied reports making rounds that the label owned by Jay Z has acquired the catalogue of unreleased song by late rapper 2Pac.

According to rumours Jay Z had purchased 2Pac’s catalogue for $384 million from Entertainment One, and planned to drop a new album from 2Pac in 2016, and set to feature  Snoop Dogg, Drake, Nas, The-Dream, DMX, Beyonce and Jay Z.

According to Billboard, this piece of news is false after speaking to a rep of Jay Z’s label.

The estate of the late rapper is controlled by JAM Inc.’s Jeff Jampol who confirms that there are tons of unreleased material from 2Pac. “Almost an embarrassment of riches,” Jampol says, listing “unreleased music, released music, remixes, original demos, writings, scripts, plans, video treatments, poems” said Jeff Jampol, describing 2Pac’s unreleased material.

In September 2016 it will be twenty years since the legendary rapper’s death. Plans to mark his two decades of passing way include new apparel, a Grammy museum exhibit, and a biography.
