Etisalat Nigeria Records 19.5m Subscribers

Etisalat-NigeriaChief executive officer, Etisalat Nigeria, Mr Matthew Willsher, said the company’s flagship Experience Centre which has opened in Abuja would strive to deliver outstanding customer service at every touch point. He added that the company has over 200 Etisalat Experience Centres and other touch points across Nigeria and has grown its subscriber base to 19.5 million subscribers.

“We focus on creating a world class environment that will enable our customers to explore the latest innovations and discover great ways to get more out of the Etisalat network. Here, our customers can experience the essence of our brand while being guided by Etisalat Geeks – our tech savvy retail consultants who can guide them on the right technology to fit their lifestyle,” he said.

Also speaking at the launch, director, Consumer Affairs, National Communications Commission, Hajiya Mariam Bayi noted that Etisalat consistently performs beyond expectations in terms of quality of service. According to her, “it will be a great thing to see all the other network providers emulate Etisalat in providing excellent network quality and customer service.”

Also commenting on the initiative, a customer of Etisalat and chairman of William Dankan Hydro Electric Power Limited, Mr Willaim Duncan, expressed his delight at the quality of infrastructure in the centre.

He said “I walked into an Etisalat Experience Centre about 2 months ago to port my line from one of the leading network providers and since then, I have never been disappointed. Having used all the other networks in Nigeria, I can tell you that the Etisalat network is the best we have in this country in terms of Quality of voice calls, SMS and data.”
