Consensus is possible among APC aspirants – Bobbo

Chief-John-Odigie-Oyegun-the-Newly-elected-APC-National-Chairman-1-504x336A governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Alhaji Dahiru Bobbo, has hinted of the possibility of reaching a consensus before party primaries.

Speaking during his formal declaration at the APC secretariat in Yola, the former Director General, National Boundary Commission, said though he prefers for a primary election, a situation where the aspirants can keep their ambitions aside to pick one of them as the candidate will be welcome.
Highlighting the imperative of placing the interest of the people above personal ambition, Bobbo said he would support consensus if it is justly arrived at.
He posited that only the APC can form a government that can bridge the economic gap between the rich and the poor in Adamawa State in view of  its people oriented manifesto, saying other political parties lack such ideology.
“I felt concerned and my heart bleeds over lost opportunities that could have positively turned around the fortunes of our dear state. Some of these lost opportunities include direct foreign investment, special Federal Government attention and locally established small and medium-scale businesses,” he said.
