Congo govt., AfDB to build $2m Centre for Education in Brazzaville

CEO-African-Development-Bank-AfDB-Donald-KaberukaThe Congo government will collaborate with the African Development Bank (AfDB) to build a 935,777,435 FCFA (1.95 million dollars) education centre in Brazzaville, a report said on Monday.

The Congo government statement stated that the centre for education, training and learning was to support the socio-economic integration of disadvantaged groups.

The AfDB would contribute 60 per cent of the total amount, while the Congolese government would contribute 40 per cent of the cost, the statement noted.

It added that two other centres were already under construction in Dolisie and Pointe-Noire in the south of the country.
