The Federal Government, on Friday appointed Mr Bode Opadokun as Managing Director of the National Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC).

It stated that Opadokun was until his appointment the General Manager (Technical) Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc.
According to the statement, the new NAIC boss has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Delta State University.
It stated that the new MD was also a graduate of Insurance from Lagos State Polytechnic, with about 25 years in insurance practise.
The statement said the new MD had assumed office at the NAIC headquarter in Abuja since Wednesday, where he promised members of staff more training.
It quoted Opadokun saying that well equipped personnel were key to efficiency and optimal service delivery.
According to the statement, the new NAIC boss also assured that with his private sector pedigree, he would bring to bear the spirit of robust competition.
It added that the competition was geared towards making NAIC a key and frontline player in the insurance industry. (NAN)
