Two men, Gafaru Ojulari, 26, and Wasiu Rasheed, 26, were on Friday arraigned before an Ilorin Magistrates’ Court, charged with robbing at gun-point.

The Prosecutor, Sgt. Zacheaus Folorunsho, told the court that the hoodlums robbed the victim of her Blackberry phone and N86,000 sometime in December, 2012 at the Taiwo area of Ilorin.
Folorunsho said that there was no trace of the suspects until sometime in Nov. 2013, when the victim discovered that her robbed Blackbery phone being used by someone.
She immediately alerted the police.
The prosecutor said that the robbed phone was traced and recovered from one Taofeek Yusuf, who bought it from the accused.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The prosecutor told the court that the accused were arraigned on a two-count charge of Criminal Conspiracy and Armed Robbery, contrary to Sections 97 and 1(2) of the Firearm Special Provision Act Cap R11 Laws of Nigeria, 2004.
He objected to the bail of the accused on the ground that the alleged offences were not ordinarily bailable.
The Magistrate, Mr Bello Abdullahi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N150,000 with two sureties in like sum.
