NSCDC arrests suspected drug peddler, recovers rubber solution in Jigawa

423f161ccb9cf7100aa3f9973d6572dfThe Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa on Wednesday arrested a 35- year-old man for alleged drug peddling.

The NSCDC Commandant in the state, Mr Muhammad Gidado, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse that the suspect was arrested in Taura Local Government Area.

Gidado said that the suspect was arrested after receiving intelligence reports about his activities in the area.

He explained that the suspect was arrested in Gabas quarters with 548 pieces of rubber solution.

The commandant alleged that the suspect was selling the drugs on market days in Gujungu village.

According to him, the suspect has confessed being the supplier of hard drugs in the area.
