Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Nnodu made the prediction in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
He noted that Lagos and other parts of the country have been experiencing a transition period from rainy to dry season.
The transition, he explained, would usher in dry, cool, dusty atmosphere and the harmattan.
“December is a dry season for Lagos, which is a coastal city.
“There may be one or two rains, but the weather pattern will be generally dry.
“Also, temperature will be cold because of the harmattan.”
Harmattan is a period with extremely dry and dusty wind that blows from the Sahara Desert toward the Western Coast of Africa, especially between November and March.
Nnodu advised that people should take precaution by protecting themselves and children from the dryness of the season.
“The harmattan is not going to cause havoc but we generally advice that people should not expose themselves to dust.
