Work resumes at Sao Paulo World Cup stadium after accident

Construction resumed on Monday on the World Cup Stadium in Sao Paulo, five days after an accident left two workers dead.

A crane at the building site fell on Wednesday and destroyed parts of the Sao Paulo’s Arena Corinthians Stadium, where the opening match of the 2014 World Cup is due to be played.

An official investigation report into the accident is expected to be released later this week. (dpa/NAN)
