Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, the Vice-Chancellor of University of Ilorin, said on Monday in Ilorin that the institution would soon start a degree programme in Entrepreneurship Studies.

The vice chancellor said the book was written in honour of Prof. Jackson Olujide, the Dean of Management Sciences, because of his commitment to duty.
Ambali said that efforts were being made to reform the Technical and Entrepreneurship Centre in the University.
In his remarks, the book reviewer, Prof. Sunday Otokiti, the former Dean, College of Social and Management Sciences, Landmark University, Omu-Aran, said it was high time the school started a degree programme in Entrepreneurship Studies.
Otokiti said that out of the 126 universities in Nigeria, only Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji- Arakeji, Osun, currently runs a degree programme in Entrepreneurship Studies.
According to him, the book is a compilation of 14 research papers.
Responding, Olujide expressed gratitude to those who attended the book launch, saying, “I am deeply touched by what you have all done for me.’’
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the occasion was attended by the former Commissioner of Finance in Kogi, Chief Abiodun Ojo, as well as other dignitaries within and outside Kwara. (NAN)
