Mr Tunde Awolana, the General Manager, Ogun Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC) said the corporation would need a total of N400 million to function effectively in 2014.

According to him, the proposed revenue is N200 million.
He said N250 would be for recurrent expenditure while N150 million had been earmarked for capital expenditure.
The general manager said the station was planning to purchase studio equipment worth N120 million and to also purchase a new Outside Broadcast van.
He said the corporation was faced with the challenge of settling the electricity debt of occupants of OGBC complex as the PHCN had threatened to disconnect the station.
Alhaji Ayinde Soaga, the General Manager, Ogun State Television, said the agency proposed to generate N250 million while N1.9 billion had been budgeted as total expenditure.
Soaga said N1.6 million would be spent on capital expenditure and N360 million for recurrent expenditure.
The general manager said that the station would generate more revenue if it could upgrade its equipment to digital. (NAN)
