One of the exhibitors, Muhammadou Salihou, from Mali told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that toilet facilities were not enough as people had to queue when they were pressed.

A female exhibitor from Niger Republic, who pleaded anonymity, said the facilities were far from the trade fair ground, a situation, she said made the toilets difficult to be accessed, especially by women.

“I want to advise them to improve on it although generally speaking, the fair is an improvement on what we had last year.

“So, we hope that, God willing, it next year’s edition will be better than this year’s”, she told NAN.

Another exhibitor, Alhaji Nasir Jafar, told our correspondent that although he was participating for the first time, there were some things that needed to be improved upon.

He said lack of water at the fair ground should be a source of concern for the organisers even as he also called for the provision more toilet facilities.

“The fair is well coordinated although there were some hitches at the beginning but the absence of basic needs like water is a sources of worry to exhibitors, particularly Muslims”, he said.

He then commended those in charge of the information centre for the wide publicity given to the fair.(NAN)
