Recalling the Biblical history of the Jews, Iorapuu said they never gave up even when faced with hard economic and social challenges.

The priest advised Christians to emulate the courage of the Jews in the Bible in dealing with present economic realities.

According to Iorapuu, their resilience in dealing with the challenges of their times paid off and urged Christians to learn from the Jewish experience.

Iorapuu, who gave the advise in a sermon during the Church service on Sunday in Makurdi, said the difficulties were meant to strengthen the faith of the Christians to make them better people.

He, however, appealed to Nigerians who were placed in better positions to assist the less privileged members in the society  to minimise their sufferings.

The cleric said that everything on earth had a time to begin and a time to end.

He therefore appealed to the people to remember that the hardship they faced also had an expiration time. (NAN)
