Represented at the workshop by Hajiya Zainab Kyari, the Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation and Youth Empowerment, Shettima said his administration was working toward addressing the housing demands of the people.

He said the state government was currently building a total of 2,500 housing units at different locations in the state.

The houses, he said, would be sold to workers at affordable prices.

“Also, the state government will soon pay N95 million as its outstanding contribution to the National Housing Fund to facilitate the commencement of the programme in the state.’’ (NAN)
