The state Chairman of the party, Dr Haruna Dabin, said in a statement in Jos that the primaries could not hold as earlier scheduled on Nov. 28 due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

He said that the new date was fixed after consultation with the state governor, party officials at the local government level and other stakeholders.

According to him, the shift would enable the party to resolve complaints by some aspirants. (NAN)
