Gov. Lamido enjoins NYSC members to imbibe people’s culture

Lamido gave the charge during the closing ceremony of Batch C members of the 2013 in Dutse.

Represented by the state Head of Service, Alhaji Mustapha Aminu, the governor charged the corps members to be good ambassadors of their people and their places of origin.

“I also urge you not to do anything that would Jeopardise or tarnish the image of the NYSC during your primary assignments.

“I also urge you to live peacefully with members of your host community, and you should also learn their cultural norms and values.”

Lamido advised the corps members to consider their service as an exercise that would prepare them physically and mentally to face the challenges of life in their future endeavours. (NAN)
