Brown checked himself into rehab last month to deal with anger issues after he was charged in a confrontation in Washington D.C. that left a man’s nose broken. But a report submitted to Superior Court Judge James Brandlin said Brown was booted out of the facility for throwing a rock through a window on his mother’s car following a joint counseling session earlier this month in which she said the singer should stay in rehab.

“Mr. Brown proceeded to walk outside and pick up a rock and threw it through his mother’s car window and it shattered,” read a letter. Brown had signed a contract promising to refrain from violence while in treatment.

In addition to spending 90 days in rehab, Brown must perform at least 24 hours of community labor per week, take any medications prescribed and submit to drug testing. The singer remains on probation in the 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna, and said he was depressed earlier this year when Brandlin ordered Brown to re-do 1,000 hours of community service after prosecutors had questioned whether he was complying with the terms of his sentence.

Brown has been connected to several high-profile altercations over the past 18 months, including a melee with Frank Ocean in a recording studio parking lot earlier this year and a nightclub brawl involving Drake last year. Brown is due Monday in court in Washington D.C. The singer also has a new album on the way.
