Is Ireland’s economy on the move?

71033886It is three years since Ireland applied for a formal bailout worth 85bn euros from its European Union partners and the International Monetary Fund.

The country – known as the Celtic Tiger – had seen unemployment soar and productivity collapse.

However Ireland is now on the verge of exiting the bailout, and possibly facing a recovery.

Joe Lynam reports on Ireland’s future prospects.
