Senegal coach Alain Giresse did not include Chelsea striker Demba Ba in his new list for the World Cup playoff return leg against Ivory Coast, amid calls from locals to give the former Newcastle forward another chance after he was dropped in the first leg.
The Frenchman refused to answer questions from reporters why Ba was not invited.
Marseille defender Souleymane Diawara is also absent from the list while Zarko Toure, Mame Birame Diouf and Pape Kouly Diop make their return to the Teranga Lions.
Giresse came under fire in Dakar after losing 3-1 to the Elephants in the first leg, for using mostly young and inexperienced players, and was advised to include some old hands in his new roster.
Both teams will face off in Casablanca in Morocco on November 10.
