The introduction of the device comes with warranty which is in sync with company’s thrust of providing innovative and customer-oriented service. “With Samsung Premium, consumers will receive a replacement device in the event of screen or liquid damage to their Galaxy Note 3, at no extra charge”.

Speaking at the unveiling of the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear in Lagos recently, the Director of Hand Held Products at Samsung Electronics West Africa, Emmanouil Revmatas, described the premium service as part of Samsung’s efforts at providing its consumers with a worry-free life.

“With the original ADH warranty, our consumers got to take their Samsung Galaxy S4 for no-money and no-questions asked repairs for screen and liquid damage, not once but twice during the first two years of the life of their device. For the Galaxy Note 3, we have upgraded the service. With the Samsung Premium warranty, instead of two repair claims, users of the device will now get two instant phone replacements over the 24-month warranty period, at no extra charge. This is a world first from Samsung. It represents our commitment to anticipating the needs of our consumers and providing them with superior service towards making their lives worry-free,” he said.

Premium Samsung devices are those of the Galaxy S lineage as well as the Note device series.  Samsung Premium will be available on the Galaxy Note 3 and all future releases in Samsung’s premium categories.

According to Revmatas, the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear are already available for purchase at Samsung stores and accredited dealers across Nigeria. “Customers that purchase the Galaxy Note 3 from Samsung stores and accredited dealers in Nigeria can register for the service by downloading and installing the Samsung Premium application from the Samsung Apps Store or Google Play on their devices. In the event of damage, registered customers will be able to take their device to an authorized Samsung Service Centre for replacement. Consumers can also track details such as their warranty start date and claims status using the app,” Revmatas explained.
