Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Nyako, a member of the G7 governors opposing the Bamanga Tukur-led National Working Committee, spoke in an interactive session with the media in Dutse after a meeting with Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.
He said: “The PDP is on the verge of death because the leaders in Abuja have given the party a terrifying upper-cut. If the party is dead nobody should expect me to follow a dead party into the grave”.
In a response to a question on the recent threat by Alhaji Bamanga Tukur to expel him from the party, he said his expulsion may turn out to be the best for him.
“The purported threat by Bamanga Tukur to expel me from the PDP is highly welcomed. You see, when I remember that when I was taken to elementary school, I cried and cried because I did not want to go, in fact, I did not take my lunch and dinner that day because I was not happy. At the end it turned out to be the best for me .So if they expel me from the PDP, it may turn out to be the best for me”, he said.
