Aero Stranded Passengers Protest at Enugu Airport

Date:

Aero-ContractorsActivities at the Akanu-Ibiam international airport, Enugu were temporarily halted Thursday as passengers of the aero contractors flight No AJ 301 who travelled from Lagos to Enugu protested over the delay in the release of their luggage more than twenty four hours after they alighted at the Akanu Ibiam international airport.
The passengers have threatened to sue the aviation company for alleged breach of contract as well as to recover their losses while waiting for their luggage which was supposed to accompany them as they travelled.
Such personalities as former Vice President Dr Alex Ekwueme among five others who were on the flight however had their luggage accompanying them because they were on the business class, but about 85 percent others could not get their luggage when they disembarked as they were not put on the flight. The passengers, most of who slept at the airport waited till about 12.45 pm yesterday when another aero flight from Lagos brought their luggage.
