The Minister of Aviation, Mrs Stella Oduah, was today conspicuously absent at the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Oduah is currently facing the wrath of Nigerians and most recently the law makers, over the purchase of two bulletproof cars for her by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. The vehicles are valued at $1.6m (about N225m).
Unconfirmed reports have it that the minister has been asked to explain her self by President Goodluck Jonathan, in the wake of the uproar that greeted the purchase when the issue became public.
