NAHCo invests N11.3bn in equipment

SAM_0194The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company said it had in the last 24 months spent over N11.3bn ($70m) to procure equipment to boost its activities.

The Chairman, NAHCo, Mallam Suleiman Yahyah, said this on the sideline of the inauguration of the NAHCo’s Learning and Development Centre in Lagos on Wednesday.

He said the company was set to ensure that it maintained its position as a top African cargo company, adding that arrangements had been put in place to grow the business further.

 The NAHCo boss said, “In the last 24 months, we have invested over N11.3bn ($70m) in equipment and are putting things in place to ensure that the flow of cargo is efficient.

“We have the support of stakeholders in the industry to ensure that Nigerians are doing their trades seamlessly.”

While welcoming the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Alex Badeh, who inaugurated the facility, Yahyah said NAHCo maintained a symbiotic relationship with the Nigerian Air Force.
