Romelu Lukaku could make his Everton debut against West Ham this weekend after signing on loan from Chelsea.

The striker was forced to watch from the sidelines as Roberto Martinez’s side beat Jose Mourinho’s troops at Goodison Park.

And the Toffees will be boosted with the news that Arouna Kone and midfielder Darron Gibson have recovered from knee injuries.

However, Steven Pienaar (hamstring) is only 50/50 to feature at Upton Park.

Speaking about Lukaku this week , Martinez said: “I have been very impressed with Romelu.

“We have seen him develop into a top striker from the outside: at 16 he came through the ranks at Anderlecht and all of a sudden you can see the potential.

“When you get to work with him you can see he is a very mature boy after his experiences.

Provisional squad: Howard, Coleman, Distin, Jagielka, Baines, Barry, Osman, Mirallas, Barkley, Lukaku, Jelavic, Naismith, Robles, Stones, Oviedo, Heitinga, Gibson, McCarthy, Deulofeu, Gueye.
