Nigeria’s FX reserves fall 0.34 pct to $48 bln in June

LAGOS, June 29 – Nigeria’s foreign exchange reserves fell 0.34 percent from a month ago to $47.62 billion as of June 13, central bank data showed on Friday.

Nigeria’s forex buffer stood at $30.22 billion, up 57.6 percent from a year ago, but is still far off a peak of $64 billion hit in August 2008.
