At Least 25 Bodies Found In 3 Mass Graves In Mexico
By Our Correspondents – January 17, 2018 07

At least 25 bodies have been found in three mass graves in central Mexico, the website Milenio and other media reported on Tuesday.

The mass graves were hidden in banana and sugar-cane fields in Pantanal in Nayarit state.

The first nine bodies were discovered by families looking for their disappeared relatives on Saturday.

The families alerted police, who found the other bodies on Monday.

Nayarit is next to Jalisco state, which acts as a base for the extremely violent Jalisco Nueva Generacion drug cartel.
