Ivorian cocoa arrivals seen at 1,925,000 T by Aug. 13 – exporters


ABIDJAN (Reuters) – Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast had reached around 1,925,000 tonnes by Aug. 13 since the start of the season on Oct. 1, up from 1,444,000 tonnes in the same period of the previous season, exporters estimated on Wednesday.

Exporters estimated that about 4,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to the port of Abidjan and another 7,000 tonnes to San Pedro for a total of 11,000 tonnes delivered between Aug. 7 and 13. That compares with 4,000 tonnes during the same period last season.
