EMINEM has put his Detroit mansion up for sale and looks set to lose nearly $4 million in the process.

The rapper is living up to the name of his classic track, “Cleaning Out My Closet”, and moving on from the property he originally spent $6.1 million on, The Sun reports.

Eminem bought the mansion in 2003 but is now selling the property for just $2.3 million. The huge property boasts a whopping eight bathrooms, five bedrooms, three garages and an array of swimming pools.

The real estate agent looking after the listing described it as “a spectacular gated estate on nearly six acres with guard house”. “This private sanctuary has over 17,000 square feet of living space,” the listing says. “Every bedroom is a suite!”

Not just content with one swimming pool, Eminem has spent the past decade relaxing in his very own spa complex — a far cry from his bad boy reputation. The property also includes a full-sized tennis court and an entertainment cabana.

Eminem recently shocked fans by ditching his trademark peroxide blonde hair and unveiling a new look. Posing next to Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar, he showed off a more mature look, sporting facial hair and giving a glimpse of his new darker hairstyle.

The new look seemed to divide Eminem’s fans with one female admirer writing: “The only time I will ever approve of a guy with a beard.”

One impatient fan cared less for Eminem’s eye-catching beard and was more interested in the 44-year-old rapper’s musical output, writing on Instagram: “Where is the f***ing album?”

Eminem’s last record, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, was released in 2013 and included the chart-topping Rihanna collaboration, “The Monster”.
