An insider source said Thursday that the sleaze bedeviling the Nigerian economy has found a soft spot in the Nigeria media sphere with agents of Arnold Ekpe, a former CEO of ETI Bank dolling out monies to select media houses in search for favour.
According to sources familiar with the ‘deal’, Ekpe has engaged sola Alabi, an ex Guardian Staff who claimed to have lost N12 million in alleged fraud involving Partnership Investment.
A press briefing recently held in Ekpe’s office and the following four journalists were in attendance from – Vanguard, ThisDay, The Guardian and The Punch.
Naija247news will name the four journalists in attendance briefed to drag the name of market regulators into the mud in a subsequent story and the amount each received for their services with an expert analysis by a renowned editor to portray the bias in their reporting including email exchanges.
” How else do one explain not only the biased coverage on the share scam involving Ekpe” Our source said.
