Wande Coal releases new sophomore studio album "Wanted"

  • 6 years after the release of his debut album, the Black Diamond Entertainmnet CEO is out with a new project.

Wande Coal has released his sophomore studio album “Wanted”.

The Black Diamond Entertainment boss has shared his album which has taken a long time to reach fruition.

“Wanted” comes six years after his debut album “Mushin to Mohits” album which has been hailed in many quarters to be one of the most musically conceptual album to come out of contemporary Nigeria.

A 23-track work, “Wanted” features collaborations from Seyi Law, AKA, Falz, Maleek berry, Jimmie, 2face Idibia, Burna Boy, Wizkid and King Spesh.

A conspicuous name missing on the album is D’banj. The pop star was partly responsible for breaking out Wande Coal, who was signed to the defunct Mo’Hits record label.

In a recent interview with Toolz Oniru on Beat FM, Wande Coal said him and his ex-label boss did not work together on the new album.

 “I’m very cool with D’banj right now but he is not on my new album.” Wande Coal said.

Production of the album is distributed across a posse of producers. They include Sarz, Xela, Maleek Berry, LeriQ, Major Bangz, BeatFrekz, Legendury Beatz, JFem.

The album is available on iTunes and in stores around the country.
