Heavenly Worship Songs From Mairo Ese's New Album ‘Yahweh’

mairo-worship-of-yawehChristian worshippers all over Africa are in for an exciting worship experience as Christian worship singer, Mairo Ese launched his debut album, ‘Yahweh’.
The launch, which took place at The Present House, Lekki, recently, was as a music concert parading a galaxy of fellow gospel artists, including Nathaniel Bassey and Tosin Martins.
The launch evening kicked off with a charged ministration by Victoria Orenze, the lady who rewrote the song ‘You are the Reason’, originally written by Chris Shalom, and she handed the baton to Enitan Adaba who raised the tempo of the worship session.
With hands lifted and eyes towards the heavens, the congregation worshipped as another artist, Modele took the stage, reciting a poem exalting the Almighty God and declaring that everything with breath should praise the Lord, accompanied by the drums, cymbals and horns.
A video featuring several ministers talking about what worship meant to them was screened, and Mairo shared insights about his journey towards the album launch.
“I started to record this album in 2005,” he said. “It’s been a journey of pain and hardship – my dad died during this period – but I knew God was taking me through a journey. Now, what I see is the worship of Yahweh.”
The album dedication was anchored by Dele Balogun, who introduced Mrs Nkoyo Rapu, wife of Tony Rapu, Senior Pastor of This Present House, Obi Pax-Harry Reverend of Resurrection Life Assembly Birmingham, United Kingdom, and Nehemiah Company Nigeria,  Godman Akinlabi of The Elevation Church, Lekki and Kingsley Okonkwo of David’s Christian Centre, Lekki. Led by Mrs Rapu, the pastors all prayed for Mairo and sent the album forth into the earth. There were powerful declarations made upon Mairo and his ministry by the pastors with the audience joining in agreement.
After the prayers, Mairo specially asked the Pastors to pray for all the music ministers that were present at the launch, led by Pastor Godman Akinlabi of The Elevation Church and Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo of David’s Christian Centre.
Joseph Benjamin the co- compere for the night also spoke of what worship meant to him and spoke glowingly about his relationship with Mairo.
Mairo sang 4 more songs from the album and the atmosphere was glorious. He blessed God in His native Isoko dialect with the songs ‘Onowo’ and ‘Oghene’ before introducing his friend and brother, Nathaniel Bassey whom he featured on the song ‘Ole Halleluyah’.
Afterwards, Glowreeyah Braimah ministered the song ‘Miracle worker’ alongside Nathaniel Bassey to the excitement of the congregation as they sang along. Freke Umoh came on stage and took the worship to another level with his songs, leading the people through an energetic praise session, which gave way for Babz Carpentarz who took the worship to another level, exalting God in Yoruba.
Mairo Ese was overwhelmed and expressed his deep gratitude to everyone who came out to support. In attendance were also Music stars Timi Dakolo, Omawunmi and Waje amongst others.
