A prominent Igbo son, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu yesterday said that the South East zone would produce president of the country in 2019 after the South/ South has completed eight years in office.

He said that already both the North and the South West has already taken their turns by occupying the seat of power for eight years, adding that immediately after the South South through President Goodluck Jonathan completes its turn in 2018, the South East will take their turn in 2019.
He said part of the resolution of the congress was a unanimous endorsement of President Goodluck for his second term in office by the entire delegates that represented Igbo in the Diaspora and many illustrious Igbo at home.
Iwuanyanwu further disclosed the resolve by the congress to give President Jonathan massive votes during the 2015 presidential election, while appealing to him to put further effort to stop insurgency in the country.
He said; ‘’Igbos have been fighting for one Nigeria and if there is anybody talking about one Nigeria, it is the Igbos”.
