The Police on Wednesday arraigned two labourers, Jamihu Yusuf, 22 and Shuaibu Haruna, 24, at a Mararaba Upper Area Court, Nassarawa State, for breach of trust.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The accused, both of Sabon Gari area, Mararaba, are facing a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, breach of trust and theft.
The police prosecutor, Mr Stephen Kwaza, told the court that one Hamza Adamu of Angwan Katsina reported the matter at the Sani Abacha Road Police Station on March 24.
Kwaza said the complainant entrusted his Bajaj Boxer Motorcycle valued at N123,000 to Yusuf to use for commercial purpose.
“He is to remit N4,900 weekly but conspired with Haruna to steal the motorcycle.
The prosecutor said the alleged offences contravened the Penal Code.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Presiding Officer, Mr Vincent Gwahemba, granted them bail for N100,000 with one surety each.
He said the sureties must present two passport photographs and be reasonable and responsible.
He adjourned the case until April 23 for hearing.
